Hailey Leithauser is the author of Swoop, published in 2013 and which won the Poetry Foundations Emily Dickinson First Book Prize, the Towson Award for Literature and was a finalist for the Kate Tufts Discovery award, a second collection Saint Worm which was published by Able Muse press in 2019. Her work appears widely in journals and anthologies and has been selected three times for Best American Poetry. She is a retired librarian and lives in the Maryland suburbs outside of Washington DC.
