Cliff Lynn auditioned for the Gong Show when he was 13, and was rejected. They never gave him the promised t-shirt, and so he became a poet. Several bakers dozens of his poems and short stories have been published in small press journals and online. He has judged and emceed the high school Poetry Out Loud contest on more than one occasion. With Rocky Jones, he co-hosted Evil Grin and other poetry series in Annapolis since 2005.
Rocky Jones is a poet, musician, event host, and a few other things. Among publications that have printed his work are Texture Magazine, Truck, and MiPOesias. He has performed his poetry at Wheaton Arts Parade, Maryland Faerie Festival, and a handful of other events, often as side-snout to Cliff Lynn. His tiny book, My Demo, self-published in 2017, is available out of the trunk of his car at any well-lit, well-populated parking lot. If you ask him who his favorite poets are, he will name songwriters and his best friends.
