Mike Maggio's publications include fiction, poetry, travel, reviews and translations in local, national and international publications including Potomac Review, The L.A. Weekly, The Washington CityPaper, and The Washington Independent Review of Books. His full-length publications include a novel, The Wizard and the White House (Little Feather Books, 2014), a novella, The Appointment (Vine Leaves Press, 2017), and a collection of short stories, Letters from Inside (Vine Leaves Press, 2019). A full-length collection of poetry, Let’s Call It Paradise, was released by San Francisco Bay Press in 2022 and won the International Book Award for Contemporary Poetry in 2024. His latest publication, a novella entitled Woman in the Abbey, won the Literary Titan Gold Book Award in 2025 and was a finalist in the 2026 Maxy Awards. His web site is www.mikemaggio.net.
Rose Solari is the author of three full-length collections of poetry, The Last Girl, Orpheus in the Park, and Difficult Weather; the one-act play, Looking for Guenevere, in which she also performed; and a novel, A Secret Woman. In her work for the stage, she has collaborated and performed her poetry with several dance companies and, most recently, The Folger Consort, a renowned early music ensemble. She has lectured and taught writing workshops at many institutions, including Arizona State University’s Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing; the University of Maryland, College Park; St. John’s College, Annapolis, Maryland; The Centre for Creative Writing at Oxford University in Oxford, England, and The Writer’s Center. In 2010, she co-founded Alan Squire Publishing, a small press with big ideas.
Chloe Yelena Miller is a writer and teacher living in Washington, D.C., with her partner and child. She’s the author of Perforated (2026) and Viable (2021), both published by Lily Poetry Review Books, and also the poetry chapbook Unrest(Finishing Line Press, 2013). She co-founded and co-directs Brown Bag Lit, an online writing community. Miller teaches writing and literature through University of Maryland’s Global Campus, Politics and Prose bookstore and New Directions in Writing. Miller has a BA in Italian language and literature from Smith College (1998) and an MFA in poetry from Sarah Lawrence College (2003.) www.chloeyelenamiller.com
